One Twist at a Time...

I have always found myself greatly inspired by nature, geometry, and the relationship between the two. Math, science, trees, flowers; Everything is connected, and I am fascinated by the precision of our physical reality. I extend this connection and precision into my artwork, combining natural forms with human interpretation and manipulation. A rigorous and monotonous level of craftsmanship to reflect such exact calculation is one in which I strive to keep perfecting. Throughout my work, you’ll see shapes and patterns influenced by scale, proportion, and composition; methods stemming from my architectural practice of constant iteration. This combination of repetition, architectural design processes, and a deep love of geometry, results in pieces that invite the viewer to explore texture, negative space, and volumetric implication.
